I’m SO excited to partner with Ann Taylor to share with you some of their new arrivals for spring! This is just a teaser because I will be sharing more new arrivals in another blog post very soon but I thought this outfit deserved a dedicated blog post because it is SO GOOD!
Starting off with this black short sleeved knit! I love the sleeve length because it is longer than a normal short sleeve, which I find most flattering on me! This knit is a lightweight sweater material (it is made of viscose and nylon) so it is perfect for spring and summer! It also has ribbing and it is very stretchy! (This knit runs true to size and I’m wearing my usual size small here.) This knit also comes in navy blue, white, and a pretty purple color!

As much as I love tweed, I surprisingly don’t own any tweed pants! Until now! I’m so excited to wear these plaid tweed pants! These tweed pants are high waisted, which I find the most flattering (and comfortable!) on me! These pants run true to size and they have a little stretch to them! I also love the ankle length, it’s my favorite because it looks good with flat shoes and high heels! These tweed pants are a black and white plaid print and I paired them with a black knit top in the below outfits but they would look good with almost any color top! I think a bright pink or purple top would give the outfit a nice pop of color for spring!
Here I’m wearing a black ribbed cardigan to add an extra layer of warmth because it is still chilly where I live! (We actually just got 4 inches of snow today!) This cardigan is lightweight, soft, and very stretchy! (It is made of cotton, modal, and polyester and it’s machine washable!) I LOVE the peplum style of this cardigan! It is somewhat fitted at the top and flares out around the waist! The opening also has a waterfall drape to it!

For a more casual and comfortable (yet stylish!) look, I’m wearing black strappy slides! These slides are made of suede and they are well cushioned on the inside! These slides also come in a light purple color! (They also came in a light tan color but they sold out quickly! And I can see why because they are so cute and comfortable!) This is the perfect everyday spring outfit or work from home outfit because all the items here are stretchy and so comfortable! This outfit also could be worn to the office if you work in a business casual environment! If you work in a business professional work environment, then you could swap out the slides for high heels or traditional flat shoes!
