I might have gotten a little carried away with my latest H&M order lol Over on my Broadcast Channel on Instagram, I asked my subscribers what content and brands they would like to see more of. I’m a huge fan of notebooks and keeping lists, I even brought a notebook with me to jury duty to take notes lol So I kept a running lists of the requests from my subscribers and I put a tally mark next to each brand every time they were requested and the number one brand my subscribers wanted to see more of was….. H&M! Seeing the results made me realize it has been WAY too long since I shared an H&M try on! So I am EXTRA excited to share today’s H&M try on!
Starting off strong with this spring transition outfit! Here I am wearing a beige colored sweater tee, which also comes in a handful of other colors. I love these types of sweater tees this time of year because it’s still really cold out (at least where I live!) and the short sleeves make the outfit feel a little more springy but because it’s made out of a knit material, it will keep you warm! I also love these sweater tees for layering under blazers because the short sleeves makes it easier (and more comfortable!) to wear under a blazer. Depending on the blazer and the sweater, sometimes I find a long sleeve sweater to be a little uncomfortable to wear under a blazer if the sweater is a little oversized or thick and the sleeves of the blazer are fitted. So the short sleeves of the sweater tee is ideal for layering under blazers!

These white jeans are also from H&M and, I have to say, I am very impressed with them! They are high waisted and a wide leg. Whenever I share white jeans or pants, the number one question I get asked is, “Are they see-through?!” These jeans are made out of a thicker denim material and I am very happy to report that I don’t find them to be see-through! For length reference, I’m 5’6″ and they are the perfect length for me to wear with flat shoes. Mesh shoes have been a huge trend since last spring, I think they’re such a fun and unique shoe! Here I paired the outfit with mesh Mary Jane shoes that I got from Amazon to give the outfit a modern and trendy twist!
I love the way this outfit looks on its own and it’s also a great base outfit to layer with! I am currently working on my top 10 favorite spring 2025 fashion trends blog post (it should be up in a couple weeks!). One of the biggest trends this spring is denim! Denim shirts, denim dresses, denim everything and anything! As a nod to that trend, I picked up this denim shirt from H&M! This denim shirt is made out of a thicker denim material so it could be worn as a lightweight spring jacket or you could wear it as a shirt! Here I layered it on top of the sweater tee and white jeans outfit and am wearing it more like a jacket!
Sizing info: the sweater tee runs true to size (wearing a small); I sized up one size in the white jeans (wearing a size 6); the denim shirt is meant to be an oversized fit (I’m wearing my usual size, small)

Another big denim trend is double-denim outfits! Here I styled that same denim shirt but with blue jeans for a denim-on-denim look! I’m wearing the denim shirt here again almost like a jacket but you also could button the denim shirt and wear it like a shirt! These jeans are also from H&M, they are a high-waisted, wide leg style. I find them to be comfortable because the material on them is a little softer than a typical jean. (P.S. They also come in a handful of other washes.)
Sizing info: I sized up one size in the wide leg jeans (wearing a size 6)

Styling the same wide leg jeans but with a cardigan sweater here! This cardigan is in a cream color, it has brown tortoise buttons going down the center (which I always love for spring and summer!), and the material is very stretchy. The nice thing about cardigans is you can wear a bodysuit or t-shirt underneath and wear it open over the top or you can button it up and wear it more like a sweater (like I’m wearing here!). I also love the length of this cardigan because it is not too long and not too short so you could tuck it into your jeans and because it’s not too long, you won’t have a lot of the material to tuck in. You also could leave it untucked, like how I have it styled here!
Another big trend this season will be animal print! At the end of last summer, we saw leopard print trending (although, I feel like leopard print is always in style but it’s more in style now than ever!). Leopard print is still very much on trend this season but now we are seeing more unusual animal prints trending, like snake print and zebra print. As a nod to that trend, I styled the outfit with snake print Mary Jane style shoes! If the snake print is not your style, you also could wear this outfit with a tan or cream colored shoe!

Another big trend this spring is cropped trench coats. I tend to wear a lot of neutrals and this spring I’m trying to make a conscientious decision when I shop to add more color into my wardrobe. I was SO tempted to buy this cropped trench coat in a beige color but as part of my efforts to add more color into my wardrobe, I decided to pick it up in this pretty sage green color instead! (And, to be completely honest, I recently picked up a beige cropped trench coat from Amazon so I didn’t need another beige one hahaha) The sage green color pairs so nicely with other neutrals, like the cream cardigan I’m wearing, and it also looks SO good with the snake print shoes!

Can’t talk about spring fashion without including a spring dress! This dress is SO pretty! It’s a shirt dress style so it has a collar and buttons going down the center, it’s a navy blue color and lined, and it comes with a tie waist belt. It also has puff sleeves that go to my elbow. If you find the sleeves are a little long or overwhelming, you can roll the sleeve up (like I did) and I find because the material is a little stiff, the rolled sleeves stay up.
This is one of those dresses that could be worn for SO many different occasions just by switching out your shoes and/or bag. This would a great dress to wear for a dressier occasion like church, Easter, Mother’s Day, brunch, graduation, or a baby shower. It also could be worn to work with a kitten heel or a ballet flat. It also could be styled casually with a flat sandal. This would be a great dress to pack for vacation because you could style it casually with a flat sandal and wear it during the day or dress it up with a high heeled sandal and wear it to dinner.
Sizing info: dress runs true to size (I’m wearing a size small)

Same wide leg jeans I styled earlier but now I styled it with this brown ruffle neck sweater! Another big trend we’ll be seeing this spring is what I’m calling “romantic details”, so think lace, bows, and ruffles. This time of year, I love sweaters that have a unique neckline because the sweater will keep me warm and the unique neckline adds interest to the outfit! This sweater could be worn casually with jeans and a flat shoe (like I’m wearing here) and because it has the unique neckline, it also could be dressed up with a clutch bag and kitten heels and worn out for dinner or date night!
Sizing info: sweater runs true to size (I’m wearing a size small); I sized up one size in the jeans (wearing a size 6)
