(Paid partnership with Ann Taylor)
In my last blog post I shared a handful of new arrivals from Ann Taylor to wear to work and today I am going to share with you how to style some of those items with jeans for casual Friday’s at the office! I am SO excited to partner with Ann Taylor on this blog post! I have been wearing Ann Taylor clothing since I started working many years ago and it is such an honor to work with one of my favorite brands! I love their clothes because they are very good quality and are reasonably priced!
I should note that I don’t make a distinction in my wardrobe between “work clothes” and “everyday clothes.” For the most part, all the clothes that I own could be worn to the office and also dressed down and worn outside the office! So, even though this blog post is focused on work outfits, all of these outfits could be worn outside the office as well!
I don’t know about you but I am SO ready for spring! I love the warm weather and I especially love spring because I can start wearing bright, happy colors again like pink! This blush pink blazer is a great way to start transitioning into spring! I like this blazer because it is made of a stretchy, soft material and it is not stiff like a traditional blazer so it is very comfortable and perfect for a business casual environment!
I’m wearing the blush pink blazer below with a blouse that is in the same color for a semi-monochromatic outfit! This blouse is very stretchy and soft and the back is made of a different material than the front. (The back is made of a crinkly satin-like material!) I like the rounded hemline of this blouse and I also like that it is longer than a typical blouse because it provides good coverage! I usually tuck in my blouses and shirts into my pants and jeans but this hemline is almost too pretty to tuck in! (Below is what the blouse looks like tucked in and untucked!)

My go-to casual Friday office outfits are jeans with a blazer, button down shirt, or duster cardigan. All of these combinations are casual yet professional at the same time! Below I am wearing a beige colored duster cardigan sweater that has the prettiest details! I love the collar and lapels because it gives this duster cardigan a slightly more dressy look than a traditional duster cardigan, which makes it perfect for work! It also has rolled sleeves that are secured with a button tab closure. I have been wearing this duster cardigan as a sweater and once it warms up outside I plan to wear it as a lightweight spring jacket! In the below outfit, I am wearing a black collared shirt underneath it and because the duster cardigan is so neutral, a white collared shirt could also be worn with this duster cardigan!

For a slightly more casual look, I swapped out the collared shirt for a lightweight short sleeved sweater below! This sweater is very stretchy and lightweight so it could also be worn in the spring and summer! I also like that it is fitted but not TOO fitted! (By the way, I am wearing my usual size in all of these items and all of these items run true to size!) I am wearing neutral colored high heels from Ann Taylor in all of these outfits but all of these outfits could be worn with flats as well if that is more your style! I like neutral colored shoes because they are so versatile and go with almost any outfit and I also like them because they don’t take away from the outfit! But, because all of these outfits are so neutral, black shoes would also look really good with these outfits and you could also wear fun statement shoes, such as leopard!
