With spring in full effect, I am rounding up the top three fashion trends for work wear this spring and summer! I can always count on Express to have the latest fashion trends! Express is one of my favorites stores for so many reasons, one of which is because they have SUCH a great selection and variety of clothing! Express has everyday outfits, special occasion outfits, work wear, and so much more!
Trend 1 – Wide leg pants
Wide leg pants are a must-have this season! They have been on trend for the past year and I feel like they are more popular now than ever! I love how comfortable they are and they look so chic and effortless! These off-white wide leg pants are SO good! I picked them up about a month ago and I think I have worn them at least once a week since then lol I love that they could be styled for work and they also could be worn casually with flat sandals or dressed up for an occasion with heels or strappy sandals! These wide leg pants have elastic at the waistband in the back so they are very stretchy in the waist and comfortable! These pants have pockets and they are lined so they are not see-through either!

Trend 2 – Pleats
One of the newest trends we’re seeing this season is pleats! We’re seeing pleats in pants, jeans, and shorts. Bonus points if the pants are wide-leg (trend #1) AND they have pleats, like these pleated wide leg pants! I feel like the pleats make an outfit look very chic and elevated! I have purchased many pants from Express over the years and I have to say, Express knows how to make a good pair of pants that are comfortable and fit like they are tailored made!

Trend 3 – Modern Tailoring
Tailored looking clothing is everywhere this season and it’s not reserved only for workwear! We’re seeing tailored looking vests, shorts, and pants worn for work and also styled casually! Below I am wearing a tailored looking vest under a black blazer and I paired it with high waisted ankle pants (which have pleats!) for a chic summer work outfit! I wore the vest and pants outside of work and I styled it with black flat sandals and a black crossbody bag for a chic everyday summer outfit!
