Adding a scarf to an outfit is a quick and easy way to make an outfit interesting and fun! Today I’m sharing a few ways to style a scarf for work! For each of the looks I will be wearing the same outfit, consisting of a pretty pink crew neck sweater and navy blue pants, both are from Ann Taylor. (Love this color combination for this time of year!) The sweater is a lightweight, stretchy material. I love that it could be dressed up and worn to work, like I’m wearing here, but it also could be dressed down and worn with jeans! These pants are VERY comfortable and I love the details of them! The material has a marled effect to it and it has pretty tab buttons on each side! (Such an unique touch!) For shoes, I am wearing neutral colored high heels. These are probably my most worn heels! They’re well cushioned on the inside and so comfortable!
Outfit details:
1. Headband
Wearing a scarf as a headband is not only cute but it also is functional because it keeps hair out of your face! The scarf I am wearing has different tones of pink in the print as well as black. When I rolled the scarf, I rolled it in a way to show more of the dark pink color in the scarf but it also could be rolled different ways to show other colors!
2. Neck Scarf
Another option is to tie a scarf around your neck! The scarf could be tied so many different ways but my favorite is to tie it into a bow! Using the same scarf that I wore as a headband, here I tied it into a bow around my neck. Love how more of the print and colors in the scarf show by tying it this way!
3. Purse Handle
Love how adding a scarf around the handles of a purse instantly makes any outfit look stylish! I typically wear neutral colored clothing and adding a scarf around the handles of a purse adds color and print to my outfit! It’s also a great way to make an old purse feel new again! A scarf could be tied into a bow at the handles or tied all around the handles, like I did below!
Below I am sharing a handful of pretty scarves to add to your collection!
Thank you so much Ann Taylor for partnering with me on this blog post! ♥
