That’s right, I said winter because the snowflakes in the forecast remind me that winter is coming soon, too soon in my opinion! So I am rounding up my must have cold weather items to keep you warm and to keep your clothes lasting longer! Be sure to scroll to the very bottom to see these items in action!
- Thermals – Thermals are my best friend from November until April! I wear these thermals nearly everyday! I love the ones below because they are lightweight and cling to the body so they are virtually undetectable under your clothes and they provide an extra layer of warmth! I love to wear skirts and dresses even during the winter time and people often ask “aren’t you cold?!” and my answer is always “Nope!” because of my trusty thermals!
- Fabric shaver – Even the best quality coats and sweaters get those tiny bubbles and lint that make clothes look old and worn. Using a fabric shaver is a great way to remove those bubbles and make your winter coats and sweaters looking new again!
- Quality gloves – I have purchased $10 knit gloves many times from many different stores and my hands have always been cold and the gloves always end up falling apart. Until now! I was very hesitant to purchase these cashmere gloves because of the price tag and I wasn’t too sure how cashmere gloves would hold up. Let me tell you, these gloves have exceeded my expectations! They are so soft and so warm and such great quality! I absolutely love the feminine ruffle detail at the end! I also love that they are slightly longer so they go past my wrist which means there is no exposed skin between my gloves and coat, well done Club Monaco! They also have special fabric at the end of the thumb and index finger for texting.
- Over-the-knee boots – As I mentioned, I love wearing dresses and skirts and the cold weather does not stop me! I love the way over-the-knee boots look with skirts and dresses and they keep my legs warm (jackpot!)! I find wearing jeans during winter to be very cold but if I do wear jeans the only way that I can keep warm is by wearing them with over-the-knee-boots. For an extra layer of warmth, I will pair my boots with thick knee high socks.
- Faux fur vest – Faux fur vests are back in style this winter and I couldn’t be happier! They are so soft, cozy, and warm! Faux fur vests are the perfect layering piece and you can wear them so many different ways! I love a faux fur vest paired with jeans and over-the-knee boots. I also love a faux fur vest paired with a skirt or dress. The possibilities are endless! I have linked a few different options below.
