(Paid partnership with Ann Taylor)
I’m having a real *PINCH ME* moment right now! I have been wearing Ann Taylor clothing since I started working many, MANY years ago and it such an honor to be partnering with them today to share with you some of their new arrivals! All of these items can be worn now and will easily transition into spring! Since I am all about getting the most wear out of my clothes, all of these items could be worn to the office and also could be dressed down with jeans and worn on the weekend!
The below outfit is making me SO excited for spring and spring fashion! However, the snow storm we just had over the weekend is a reminder that spring fashion is still a little ways away! (For me at least!) In today’s post I will share a handful of ways to style the below outfit so it can be worn now and transitioned into spring!
Here I am wearing a beautiful champagne colored blouse that has a silky look and feel to it but it is made out of polyester, which is even better because that means it is machine washable! The sleeve length is longer than the usual short sleeved blouse, which I find very flattering! I usually tuck in my blouses but I love the look of the rounded hemline of this blouse! I paired this blouse here with navy blue ankle pants and because this blouse is neutral it could be worn with any color pants! These navy blue pants are soft, stretchy, and so flattering! They are made of a cotton blend, which means they are machine washable as well! (Always a plus!) I usually gravitate towards ankle length pants because they look good with high heels and they also look good with flat shoes!

Since it is still SO cold outside, this outfit could be worn now with a blazer or cardigan! Below I am wearing a beautiful camel colored blazer. I love the tailored fit of it and it is SO stretchy and soft! This blazer also is machine washable, which is a huge bonus because it saves time and money on dry cleaning! As I noted earlier, since the base outfit of the champagne colored blouse and navy blue pants are so neutral, almost any color and type of blazer would go with this outfit! Some that come to mind are a navy blue blazer, gray blazer, cream blazer, navy blue tweed blazer, the possibilities are endless! I linked this exact outfit below and other blazers that could be worn with this outfit as well!

In the above outfit I added a long, layered shimmer necklace to give the outfit something “extra”! (Not that it needs anything extra!) This necklace compliments the champagne colored blouse and because the necklace is a gold color, it will go well with nearly any outfit! I love how simple and dainty this necklace is!
The below outfit is similar to the above, but different! Here I tucked in the blouse and I can’t decide whether I like it better tucked in or untucked?! I think it looks good either way and it just comes down to personal preference! I love that all of the items here are soft, stretchy, and comfortable, perfect for spending 8+ hours in the office! I’m wearing this outfit here with high heels but it also could be worn with flat shoes! I tend to wear high heels even outside the office and I often get asked how I can comfortably wear high heels all day long. For me, a few factors come into play. First, I almost always wear stockings with my high heels, either the traditional stockings or knee high stockings. They help prevent the skin on my feet from rubbing against the shoes, which tends to create blisters. Second, I find high heels that are under 4″ to be the most comfortable for me, preferably 3 1/2″. Block heels also tend to be very comfortable. And lastly, it comes down to the actual shoe and the way it’s made. I usually find leather or suede high heels to be the most comfortable because they usually stretch out a little after wearing and I find them to be more breathable than faux leather or suede. Here I am wearing neutral color high heels that meet all of my criteria! These high heels are a best seller at Ann Taylor and I can see why! They are my ideal heel height (3 1/2″) and they are very well padded and comfortable! They also are made of leather. I find neutral colored high heels to be the most versatile because they go with every outfit and also look really good with jeans on dress down Friday’s or on the weekends! These high heels also comes in black, navy blue, leopard, tortoise, and black suede! I linked all of these down below!

Using the same base layer of the champagne color blouse and navy blue pants, you could also wear a cardigan sweater to keep warm. The cardigan sweater that I am wearing below is actually called a “coatigan”. I have never heard of this term below but I can see why it’s called a coatigan because it is thick, very warm, and substantial! It could double as a cardigan or could be worn in place of a coat in the spring and fall. It could even be worn now as a coat if you live somewhere that is relatively warm. But sadly this is not the case for me so I have been wearing it as a cardigan! During the winter I usually wear thermal shirts under my clothes to keep extra warm but no thermal shirt is needed under this cardigan because it is so warm!

This cardigan is a pretty light camel color houndstooth print, which I find so versatile! I’m wearing it here with the navy blue pants that I was wearing earlier but because it is so neutral it could also be worn with black pants, off white pants, camel pants, and it also looks good with jeans! This cardigan has a tie waist belt so it could be worn as a wrap style cardigan and tied into a bow like I did above. It also could be worn open and the tie waist belt could be tied in the back, like below!
