(PAID PARTNERSHIP WITH ANN TAYLOR)
Although I am not a fan of cold weather, I love fall fashion because I am able to layer outfits (my favorite!). I think layering makes an outfit interesting and stylish! I ESPECIALLY love spring fashion because I am able to layer and also wear bright colors once again! Spring fashion also means spring and summer are right around the corner, which means the warm weather also is right around the corner! (At least theoretically! We just got four inches of snow on Monday!) Today I’m going to share with you new arrivals from Ann Taylor that could be worn now and transitioned right into summer!
Starting off with one of my biggest fashion weaknesses, TWEED! I have zero self control when it comes to tweed! It is such a pretty and timeless style! In the below outfit I am wearing a beautiful fringe tweed knit top. Love the fringe details at the sleeves and hem! This top is made of a lightweight knit material and it’s very stretchy and comfortable! This is my third week working from home and this is my ideal work from home outfit because it is comfortable yet stylish! The below outfits also could be worn to the office if you work in a business casual environment! If you work in a business professional environment then you could swap out the slides for traditional flat shoes or high heels!
Here I paired the fringe tweed top with blush pink pants and off white slides for a casual, everyday spring outfit! These blush pink pants are a mid-rise and I love the ankle length because they look good with flat shoes but they also look good with high heels! Whenever my pants have belt loops that are showing I always feel obligated to wear a belt so here I am wearing not just any belt, but a TWEED belt! This tweed belt has blush pink and off white colors in it and it also has pretty gold hardware at the sides!

I think this fringe tweed top looks pretty tucked into pants but it also looks good untucked because of the fringe hem! I can’t decide which way I like better and I’ll probably alternate between tucking it in and untucking it each time that I wear it!
By the way, this top runs true to size and I’m wearing my usual size small here. If you prefer your tops to be more fitted then I would recommend sizing down one size in it (this top has a lot of stretch to it!). The blush pink pants run true to size and I’m wearing my usual size 2 in them and the slides run true to size as well!

Since spring weather can be so unpredictable I like to have a jacket or cardigan on hand! In the below outfit, I am wearing a fringe tweed cardigan that is made of the same material as the fringe tweed top! I think this is the most tweed that I have ever worn in one outfit and I couldn’t be more happier! This is what my (fashion) dreams are made of! (If you love tweed as much as I do, be sure to check out this blog post where I share more tweed outfits from Ann Taylor!) This fringe tweed cardigan has the same fringe at the sleeves and hem and it also has the prettiest pearl buttons! This cardigan can be worn with the matching fringe tweed top, like I’m wearing below, but because it is so neutral, it could be mixed and matched with other tops and outfits as well!

I love neutral colored clothing because you can easily mix and match the items to create new outfits! As an example, I swapped out the blush pink pants from the above outfits with gray pants below to create a new outfit! Love this color combination for spring and summer!
